PATCA June Dinner Meeting-SKMurphy's Website Peer Review

June 11, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

PATCA June Dinner Meeting-SKMurphy's Website Peer Review

Are you thinking about making some changes to your website and looking for feedback? Interested in improving your website?

Busy, hard-working consultants almost always make client projects their top priority. They know enough to network constantly and to maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.

But when it comes to attracting new clients and proving immediate credibility, nothing can hurt a consultant's chances more than making a bad first impression with an outdated website. In today's business world and competitive economic climate, the image consultants present on their web properties is critical to getting that second look from hiring managers.

If you are considering modifying or improving your website, nothing will bring more clarity, more quickly than getting a fresh perspective.

PATCA's June dinner meeting brings Sean Murphy and Theresa Shafer of SKMurphy back for a return visit, with a new type of event. The program will offer moderated, peer reviews of three very real websites owned and presented by three PATCA members.

The program will deliver three key benefits to participants and to the audience:

  • Objective Review: Making an objective, critical review of another firm's website and providing helpful feedback helps everyone to see their own site in a new light.
  • Customer Experience: A peer review requires a consultant to experience their site as an outside visitor would.
  • Prioritized Effort: Working with peers helps a consultant to prioritize changes so that improvements that are most important to customers are identified and addressed quickly.

As an added bonus, SKMurphy will offer suggestions for little-known free and low cost tools and resources that are available to help consultants evaluate their own site and develop improvements.

If you are interested in being a website presenter or participating as a round table reviewer, please email Theresa at tshafer@skmurphy.com.
