PATCA January Dinner Meeting-Improve Sales to your Ideal Customer With More Effective Market Research

Times are tough, and consultants now face challenges that confound even the most seasoned professionals. Darlene Crane, the featured speaker at PATCA’s January dinner meeting, will pose the question, “During this turbulent economy, how can we develop deeper insights into our work and our processes to find new benefits to offer our customers and to strengthen our business practices?”

Crane’s presentation will guide the audience to find strategic solutions to troubling questions, such as:

  • Will my business model remain effective and relevant as the economy evolves?
  • Is there still a demand in my current industry for my product or service line?
  • How do I know who my ideal customer is these days?

Crane will present techniques for conducting primary market research, and will share insights into conducting deeper secondary research that is now essential for competing effectively and successfully. Hear examples of how classic techniques are being updated and used to develop new business models and enhance product and service distribution using new technology.

Attendees will learn:

  • Recognize business situations in which an on-line survey is inadequate.
  • When and how to dig into psychographic segmentation and behavior.
  • How to address current public sentiment and satisfy customer desire for products or services that are sustainable or locally producted.
  • Methods of long-term strategic analysis that lead to more effective forecasting.
